Amino and Imago present a vision of the future at European events PDF Print E-mail

May, 2007 - Amino, IPTV platform supplier, and Imago, European video communications distributor, will be showcasing latest AV technology on May 15-16 at the IPTV World Forum Eastern Europe in Prague.

Roy Kirsopp, VP and General Manager at Amino, will speak at 2:40pm in the session entitled “Is Eastern Europe ready for HD” at the event in Prague. Roy will present Amino as an experienced innovator in HD IPTV technology, currently leading the Eastern European IPTV market.

Visitors at the event will be able to see demos of the second generation multi-codec AmiNET125 STB (enabling both IPTV and Internet TV services), as well as the advanced HD H.264 AmiNET130 IPTV STB. Imago is seeing strong demand for these products, including the AmiNET130H STB for hospitality and enterprise applications, which are now available throughout Europe.

“The AmiNET series represents the most advanced technology in the industry, which is why Imago continues to work exclusively with Amino,” said James Vickerage, Head of Marketing at Imago Group Plc. “Amino’s diverse range of products suits the intricacies of the European market with specific local requirements in each country.

Amino originally signed an agreement with Imago in September 2005 and since then both companies have worked to bring IPTV and Internet TV technology to several markets. “Over the past 18 months, Imago has helped consolidate Amino’s position as the leading player in the industry,” said Roy Kirsopp, VP and General Manager at Amino. “Exhibiting at these events will strengthen our partnership as well as our commitment to shaping the future of the IP video world.”
