Christodoulos Protopapas, Chairman of ESOA, HELLAS SAT/ ESOA
Christodoulos Protopapas is the Managing Director of HELLAS SAT and Chairman at the European Satellite Operators Association (ESOA). As CEO and a member of the Board of Directors since 2001, Mr. Protopapas is responsible for implementing the strategic direction of Hellas Sat Consortium Ltd.As a result of his extensive experience in the broadcasting technology and infrastructure, Mr. Protopapas became Technical Advisor of the Alpha TV Group in Greece, a position he held until he was appointed a member of the Board of Directors of Hellas Sat Consortium Ltd and accepted responsibilities of CEO. Involved in the satellite business since August 1994 when he was appointed Member of the Cyprus Space Committee from the Board of Ministers, Mr. Protopapas was proven to be an excellent candidate for the job.
