Markus Golder (38) was appointed Marketing Director for Fixed Line Services at Bulgarian Telecommunications Company (BTC) as of January 1, 2007.
 

Markus started his career as a Consultant at AWK Engineering, helping large corporate clients with the design and implementation of communication and information systems. In 1999, Markus joined diAx, Switzerland’s only alternative full-service provider as Head of Business Product Marketing. In this capacity, he was in charge of marketing a comprehensive portfolio including wireline voice, mobile and data services to business customers. Following the merger of diAx and sunrise, Markus was appointed Marketing Director of the Wireline & Internet Business Unit, in charge of Marketing to both the Residential and the Business segment. He was the driving force behind the launch of sunrise' convergent wireline and mobile services, its initiative to cut time-to-market by 30%, the introduction of a state-of-the-art CRM environment and the acquisition of one of the largest System Integrators in the country.

Markus holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and an MBA from London Business School. He is a Swiss citizen.
