 Jean-Charles De Keyser is Executive Chairman of the Board of Skynet BelgacomTV as. In this capacity, his mission will be to implement Belgacom’s media and content initiatives within the framework of BelgacomTV.
Jean-Charles started his career in 1970 as journalist at RTL Radio in Brussels. In 1979 he became Head of News at RTL Television in Belgium and presented the 7:00 pm news from 1982 till 1987.
In 1987 he launched RTL-TVI which was a huge success. In a short time, RTL-TVI became the first TV station in the French speaking part of Belgium. In 1991, he also launched successfully the radio station Bel RTL.
In 1997, as CEO of RTL Klub, he started the TV Station in Hungary. He became Board member of RTL Netherlands, RTL Croatia, M6 France.
As of 2005 he was nominated Executive Vice President for Benelux, Eastern Europe and Radio at the RTL Group.
He joined Belgacom on September 1st, 2005 as Executive Chairman of the Board of Skynet/Belgacom TV.
