Myles joined The Walt Disney Company in 2000 and has held a variety of commercial, technical and product leadership roles within the European and International arms of the Disney Interactive Media Group and its predecessor organisations. Presently Myles has general management responsibility for Disney Online in EMEA. This encompasses the business operation of: 14 ad supported consumer facing Disney branded web destinations that allow guests to explore Disney information and play Disney entertainment; Disney branded WAP destinations across Europe; premium subscription online services such as the Toontown.co.uk virtual world; and the new parent oriented destination UKFamily.co.uk. Myles is also the Managing Director of Walt Disney Hungary Ltd where most of his web operations are based. Before Disney, Myles worked in major telecoms and internet organisations in roles as diverse as semiconductor optoelectronic device engineering and leadership of BT’s eCommerce product division. - Rik Missault is currently heading Alcatel-Lucent’s Multimedia & Ventures Product Group. He joined the company in 1992 and has been involved in the worldwide marketing and business development of Alcatel’s DSL business since 1996. Since 1999 he has driven several of Alcatel’s key acquisitions, resulting in Alcatel’s industry-leading end-to-end solutions capabilities. Rik is often invited to speak at industry events, represents Alcatel-Lucent in standardization bodies and contributes articles to industry magazines. He graduated in electronics engineering at the University of Leuven (Belgium) and completed an executive Masters in Business Administration at the Vlerick School for Management in Gent (Belgium).
- Stephen Nuttall is the Director of British Sky Broadcasting’s Commercial Group. This comprises
business development, games, on-demand and mobile content and services, content syndication to
cable, IPTV and the web, and overall responsibility for Sky’s portfolio of joint venture channels. Prior
to Sky, Stephen was one of the founders of the sports website, Sportal.com; was Business Development Director of Telepiu, the Italian Pay-TV operation that is now known as Sky Italia; and worked for a variety of media clients as a management consultant. - Since joining Amadeus in 2001, Simon has worked on a number of investments for the firm and sits as a non-executive director on the board of several portfolio companies. These include three Stockholm-based companies, PacketFront, a market leader in European fibre-to-home networks; Transmode, which makes data transmission equipment; and Edgeware, which makes highbandwidth solid-state servers for the IPTV and other markets. Simon also sits on the board of Intune Networks, a Dublin-based company developing next-generation equipment for telecommunications networks, and Velocix, a Cambridge-based company building a next generation peer-assisted network for delivering video and other large files over the internet. Simon also manages Amadeus' investment in Xelerated, a networking semiconductor company based in Stockholm. Simon joined Amadeus from Two Way TV, a digital TV entertainment and technology company, where he was chief executive. Simon holds five patents in digital and interactive TV.
